Study Overview
Eurofins Alba is looking for females who are non-caucasian aged 40 and above to participate in a research study to evaluate the in-use efficacy of anti-aging serum in improving the skin appearance after 12 weeks of application. Measurement and images of your face will be taken at each visit. At each visit you will also complete a self-perception questionnaire.
There will be 5 visits to the test centre. You must not wear any facial cosmetics, products on the morning of each visit.
Must have the following visual signs of aging:
Presence of fine lines and wrinkles
uneven skin tone
loss / lack firmness.
dry skin
Study Restrictions:
To refrain from using aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, antihistamines, or corticosteroids for the duration of the study (paracetamol is permissible for pain relief). Subjects are requested to alert test personnel of any changes to medication during this study and are informed that certain medications are an exclusion criterion and may result in their withdrawal from the study.
To refrain from having surgical or non-surgical aesthetic procedures during the study including Botox, fillers, lip enhancements, permanent or semi-permanent eyebrow or cosmetic treatments.
To refrain from using any other facial/eye creams, or moisturisers for the duration of the study.
To attend the test centre having refrained from applying any facial cosmetics or products to their face prior to all visits.
Visits
You will be required to attend 5 visits to the test centre - you can choose the group preferences at the end of this survey. Appointment times are between 9:30am to 3:30pm.
Some volunteers in group 1 will be chosen to have additional measurements taken. If you are selected for the validation group, your first visit will take approx. 3 hours. If you are in the non-validation group, your visit will take approx 1.5 hours.

Expenses
If you do not meet the entry criteria after completing your paperwork you will receive £5.
If you do not meet the entry criteria after your measurements, you will receive £10.
If you are chosen to take part in the non-validation group, you will receive £170 on completion of this study.
If you are chosen to take part in the validation group, you will receive £190 on completion of this study.
