What types of Spot/Acne Studies do we have?
What is a Spot/Acne Study?
The purpose of a spot study is to evaluate the effectiveness and the safety of the test material. We may be assessing the ability to reduce inflammatory skin lesions and blemishes on the face.
This study would suit volunteers with spot/blemish prone skin who would like to try new treatments.
What do I need to do in a Spot/Acne Study?
You would need to come to the test site for the required number of visits. Before attending there may be some changes that you will be required to make to your usual skin care routine (you will be informed of these at recruitment).
You will be required to remain in the test centre until each appointment is complete.
General Inclusion Criteria (*some studies may have more requirements)
Males and Female
Aged 18-45
Must have spot/blemish prone skin
Must be willing to have photographs taken during the study.
Must be willing to use the test product for the duration of the study.
General Exclusion Criteria (*some studies may have more requirements)
Those who are pregnant or breast feeding.
Those with any active skin conditions within the last 6 months.
Those suffering from any systemic condition, including Asthma and Diabetes.
Those who have applied self-tanning products to the facial area prior to the start of the study.
Those with facial piercings that can not be removed on the test days.
How much expense’s will I receive for taking part?
On completion of this study, you will receive between £45 and £180 expenses in the form of a cheque in your own name.
